Hollis Dennis

September 26, 1908 - June 22, 1910

Hollis Dennis was a son of Elmer and Mina (nee Osterhausen).  The 1905 Clark County Census lists an Elmer Dennis living in York Township with his wife and several children.  Similarly, a 1906 plat map of York Township shows Elmer Dennis owning 80 acres of land in Section 22.  Death records indicate that Hollis Dennis died as a small boy. In addition, the June 30, 1910 issue of the Republican and Press indicated that Hollis died in a hospital in Chicago, Illinois.  He had suffered from kidney trouble from birth.
