Ann Dunn

May 9, 1816 - ?

Based on information provided by Merrill Dunn (a great grandson) for the 1980 York Center Methodist Church centennial booklet, it is believed that Annastatia Dunn is buried at York Center Cemetery.  Annastatia (nee Freel) Dunn was the wife of George Dunn and both were early settlers of York Township.  One of her children, (James) Albert Dunn married the former Nancy McKenzie, who was a daughter of David, Sr. and Rose (nee Ferris) McKenzie, who were also early settlers of York Township.  The 1893 plat map of shows a J. A. Dunn owning land in Section 8, land that was later owned by Samuel Bolton and Carl Schecklman.
