Dwight Graves

January 29, 1896 - September 24, 1967

wpe1.gif (5893 bytes)Dwight Graves was a son of Hubert and Ella (nee Schell) Graves.  The Hubert Graves family came to York Township from Calumet County in 1901.  Dwight was the York Town Clerk for many years.  His mother was a younger sister to Lillie Lavey’s  mother.   Therefore, Dwight Graves was a first cousin to Lillie Lavey (Glenn Lavey’s mother).  He lived with his parents on a farm in Section 15 (later owned by the Hubings) and then later on another farm in Section 21 formerly owned by Albert Turner.
