Johanna Kretschmer
July 20, 1858 - September 10, 1910
Johanna (nee Kulfus) Kretschmer was born in Germany, a daughter of John and Johanna Kulfus.[i] She was the wife of Christin Kretschmer, also born in Germany. Christin Kretschmer was an early settler of York Township. A 1906 plat map shows a C. Kretschmer owning a farm in Section 30. The September 15, 1910 issue of the Republican and Press indicates that Johanna died in the Marshfield hospital after being injured in a runaway accident.
