James McKimm
June 22, 1902 - August 8, 1906
Born in York Township, James McKimm was a son of Joseph McKimm. The 1905 Clark County Census lists a James McKimm (2) living in York Township as a son to Joseph McKimm. Joseph McKimm was the son of Samuel and Isabella McKimm, early pioneers of York Township. The 1880 Federal Census for Clark County lists a Joseph McKimm (14) living in York Township with his father S. McKimm (52) and mother Isabella McKimm (50). The 1893 and 1906 plat maps for York Township also show a Joseph McKimm owning land in Section 19. Clark County records[i] show that a Joseph McKimm married Annie Esselmann on July 10, 1892 at Greenwood, Wisconsin. Annie Esselmann was a daughter of Clarence and Annie Esselmann. James McKimm died as a small child.
