Noel Rogers
August 1869 - October 19, 1900
Noel Rogers was born near River Falls, Wisconsin; a son of David R. and Emily (nee Adams) Rogers, both of whom were early pioneers of York Township. The Rogers owned a farm in Section 4. He was the first husband of Olive Van Buren. Noel Rogers died as a young man of typhoid fever.[i] After Noel’s death, Olive married Burton Lawrence, a son of Horace A. and Lorinda (nee Windsor) Lawrence. Burton Lawrence is also buried in York Center Cemetery. Olive is interred at Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
