Julius Voight
December 1849 - December 9, 1923
Julius Voight was an early settler of York Township. An early plat map shows that Julius Voight owned 40 acres of land in Section 22, land that was formerly owned by a J. H. Fisher. Several of Julius and Caroline Voight’s children are buried in York Center Cemetery including: Edward and Reinhold (aka Hank) Voight. The 1900 Federal Census for Clark County lists a Julius Voight (50) living in York Township with his wife Caroline (54) and three children.
