Ethel Kopp
Ethel Kopp, 93, of Merrill, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 13, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family. A complete obituary will be published in next week's Foto News.

Ethel F. Kopp, 93, of Merrill, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Born April 20, 1913, in Mosinee, Ethel was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elise Fontaine Marsceau. She married Norbert Kopp in Merrill On Oct. 26, 1940. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1998.
Ethel had worked at the former Woodenware Toothpick Factory in Merrill. She was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church where she helped with the St. Francis Carnivals, the fair stand, and worked in the kitchen for various church functions. Ethel enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, gardening, furniture upholstering, playing cards, and watching the Brewers and Packers on television.
Survivors include her grandsons Mark Marsceau, Merrill; Matt (Joanne) Marsceau, Cary, Ill.; and Mike (Kathy) Marsceau, Merrill; granddaughters Marlene (Gary) Graap, and Nicole (Kelby) Krause, both of Merrill; and Jennifer (Michael) Knight, Orange, Calif.; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Norbert, son Eugene and 12 sisters and brothers.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 13, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Rev. Joseph Kleinheinz officiated. Burial was in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Merrill. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, handled arrangements.
