Irene M. Germain

Irene M. Germain, 84, of 3800 N. 92nd St., Milwaukee, formerly of Merrill, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at St. Anne's Home for the Elderly in Milwaukee.

Irene was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Merrill, daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Braatz Goetsch. She married Douglas C. Gemain on Feb. 14, 1947. He preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1986.

Irene was a homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and being with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Germain, Milwaukee; granddaughter Kimberly (Michael) Wolverton, Milwaukee; and great-grandchildren Cassidy and Zachary Wolverton, both of Milwaukee.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 14, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
