Ralph G. Dreger

Ralph G. Dreger, 84, of 2100 E. Sixth St., Merrill, formerly of N2659 East Shore Dr., town of Merrill, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Ralph was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Gillett, son of the late Gottlieb and Helga Helmerson Dreger. He married Rita Bongle Jaeger on May 19, 1973, in Merrill. She survives.

Ralph was an insulator and asbestos worker for Taylor Insulation, Merrill. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. He was also a member of the Lincoln County Sports Club. Ralph enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cribbage.

Survivors include his wife Rita, Merrill; sister-in-law Ruth Dreger, Merrill; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Charolette Damon, Nola Duehring and Viola Johnson; and brothers Rheinhart, Harvey, Ray and Russell.

A private family memorial service will be held. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
