Brandi Nicole Jacobsen and Robert Sollars Jr., both of Wausau, announce their engagement and impending nuptials.

The bride to be is the daughter of Katrinia and Ron Yohe, Huntington Beach, Calif.; and John Jacobsen Jr., Merrill; and the granddaughter of Paul and Patty Ryan, Merrill. The prospective groom is the son of Renee Sollars, Merrill; and Robert Sollars Sr., Mesa, Ariz.

Brandi is a graduate of Merrill High School and is starting school at Northcentral Technical College for photography. Robert has an associate's degree from NTC. He is employed at PCI Packaging, Wausau.

The couple has set a July 7, 2007, wedding date.
