Sandra Bennish
Sandra Bennish, 64, Gleason, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill. There will be a memorial service at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Gleason Bowling Center. A full obituary will be published in next week's Foto News.

Sandra Lea Bennish
Sandra Lea Bennish, 64, of Gleason, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill, under the care of Ministry Homecare/ Hospice.
Born in Rhinelander on Aug. 1, 1943, Sandra was the daughter of the late Evelyn Turner. She married Delmar Bennish on May 13, 1965, in Waukesha. He died on Nov. 13, 2003.
Sandra courageously battled cancer for nine years. She owned her own auto parts business for over 30 years and also worked at Northern Wire. Sandy enjoyed coin collecting, traveling, watching wildlife, visiting with friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Lolita (Bunny) Bennish, Gleason; son Bo Duke Bennish, Gleason; grandchildren Kyle Stein, Alexis Grace Bennish and Adrianna Marie VanDerGeest; three sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar, her mother and a sister.
Sandy's family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Health Center and Ministry Homecare/Hospice and Todd and Christine Schram of Gleason Bowling Center. To honor Sandy's wishes, a time of remembrance was held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Schram's Gleason Bowling Center. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, served the family.
