John J. Miller

John James Miller, 43, of Merrill, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at his home.

Born in Milwaukee on July 21, 1964, John was the son of Donald and the late Kay Goldbach Miller.

John was an over-the-road truck driver. He had served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing carpentry work and motorcycling.

Survivors include his father Don Miller, Merrill; son David and daughter Katrina; sister Jackie (Rodney) Wright, Fort Belvoir, Va.; nephew John Jay Wright; step-sisters Kris Miller and Julie (Bob) Steinke, both of Wausau; and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk officiated.
