Lyn Hulgan, Oak Creek, and Aaron Zimmermann, Watertown, were engaged on the evening of July 20, 2007, while flying over Watertown in a corporate jet bound for Oshkosh.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Suzette Hulgan, Wausau, Karen sherry, Watertown, and Jerry Zimmermann, Phoenix, Ariz.

The future bride is a 1995 graduate of Merrill High School and a 1999 graduate of UW Whitewater, where she majored in public relations and minored in business. She is the owner of Essential Details, LLC, an event coordinating, wedding planning and etiquette consulting business.

Her fianc- is a 1992 graduate of Watertown High School and attended Madison Area Technical College where he studied electronics. Aaron is a private pilot and owner of Proline Entertainment, a full-service event production company specializing in music entertainment, theatrical and corporate lighting design.

On the evening of the engagement, the couple flew over a sign stating "Marry Me" in a cornfield located off Highway M in Watertown. The sign was lit with Aaron's light fixtures, typically used to light rock stages or corporate events. They returned to the Watertown Airport where family and friends were waiting with a champagne reception. The couple plan to marry with an aviation themed reception in summer 2008 in Watertown, and honeymoon in Europe.
