Amanda Drake, Athens, and Trever Ostrowski, Rothschild, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Kay Drake, Athens. The prospective groom is the son of Patrick and Cynthia Ostrowski, Weston, and the late Corrine Ostrowski.

Amanda is a 2001 graduate of Merrill High School and a 2006 graduate of UW La Crosse. She is a public health educator with the Marathon County Health Department. Trever is a 2002 graduate of Athens High School and a 2004 graduate of Northcentral Technical College. He is a police officer with the Rothschild Police Department.

The pair has set a Feb. 9, 2008, wedding date.
