Kim R. Russell, 40, of 508 Spruce St., Merrill, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Kim was born March 15, 1966, in Merrill, daughter of Carol Van Slate Osness and the late Dale Osness. She married Robert R. Russell on Sept. 5, 1992, in Appleton. He survives.
Kim graduated from Merrill High School and received a bachelor's degree in interior design from UW Stevens Point. She was currently a receptionist/clerical support for the Lincoln County Department of Social Services. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to country music, reading, cooking, art work and the outdoors.
Besides her husband Robert Russell and her mother Carol Osness, both of Merrill, Kim is survived by her daughter Kylie and and her son Eric, both at home; sisters Kerri (Jim) Wolff, Merrill; and Kathi Porter and Rhonda Osness, both of Schofield; and brothers Rick (Lynay) Osness, Provo, Utah; Ronald (Margaret) Osness, Merrill; Ryan (Pam) Osness, Plymouth; and Rory (Tami) Osness, Port Washington. Also surviving are her father- and mother-in-law, George and Nancy Russell, Merrill; sisters-in-law Leah (George) Hoedeman, Eden Prairie, Minn.; and Kay (Robert) Klinter, Green Bay; and brothers-in-law Lyndon (Deb) Russell, Round Lake Beach, Ill.; and Paul (Kati) Russell, Sun Prairie. She was preceded in death by her father Dale Osness.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 6, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. Ted Gulhaugen officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, served the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation for Cancer Research or to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
