Ralph C. Seiler

Ralph C. Seiler, 71, of 2400 E. Eighth St., Merrill, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Ralph was born Aug. 5, 1935, in Sturgeon Bay, son of the late Carl and Linnea Edholm Seiler. He married Diane M Krueger on Aug. 6, 1961, in Merrill. She survives.

Ralph served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1959. He was stationed in post-war Korea with the Medical Corps. For 45 years, Ralph was an auto body repairman. At the time of his retirement he was employed at Yach's Body and Custom in Wausau. Ralph enjoyed restoring antique cars, especially his 1930 Chevrolet. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of "The Shepherd's House"-Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wausau.

Survivors include his wife Diane, Merrill; daughters Lori (Jeff) Schlais, Rockford, Ill.; and Lisa Anderson, Merrill; son Todd, Wausau; and grandchildren Michelle, Sara, Autumn, Nickolas and Zackary. Also surviving are sister Lenore Sennott, Berrien Springs, Mich.; brother-in-law Jack Krueger, Montana; and mother-in-law Violet Krueger, Merrill.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 13, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Pastor Bill Bossert officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park with graveside military rites by VFW Post 1638, Merrill.
