Caroline L. Pesek

Caroline L. Pesek, 86, Harbor House, Merrill, formerly of Cicero, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Caroline was born in Berwyn, Ill., on Feb. 2, 1920, daughter of Adolph and Libbie Pechae Tomisek. She married Laddie Pesek.

Caroline loved to travel and go fishing in the Northwoods. The highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Laddie Pesek, Arizona; and Katherine (Richard) Orbon, Tomahawk; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Adolph (Jo) Tomisek and sister Florence Konvalinka. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Laddie, daughter Libbie, sister Margaret Hilt, and grandchildren Bernie Orbon and Jimmy Pesek.

Private funeral services were held. Interment will be at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, Ill., in December. The Bolger Funeral Home, Minocqua, served the family.
