Randy S. Schmidt

Randy S. Schmidt, 56, of Merrill, and formerly of Tomahawk, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at his residence.

Born in Milwaukee on Feb. 27, 1950, Randy was the son of the late Howard W. and Beverly M. Wilke Schmidt. He married Bonnie Teschendorf on June 15, 1968, in West Allis. She survives.

Randy graduated from high school in 1968. He had been employed at Willie's Tire Center. Randy enjoyed construction work, four-wheeling, traveling and antique cars.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie, Merrill; daughters Dianna (Dave) Arnott and Carrie (Jason) Scholz, both of Tomahawk; grandchildren Zachary, Dawson and Emilie; and brother Terry (Denise), Sacramento, Calif.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Robert Smallman will officiate. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4 p.m. to the hour of services.
