Margaret M. Schulz

Margaret M. (Margy) Schulz, 56, of Merrill, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, 10 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 11, from 4-8 p.m. at Waid Funeral Home.

Margaret M. Schulz

Margaret "Margy" M. Schulz, 56, Merrill, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006 at the Hospice House, Wausau, surrounded by her family.

Margaret was born on May 2, 1950, in Merrill, the daughter of Delbert and Frances (Ashauer) Huss.

She married Steve Schulz on Sept. 14, 1968. He survives.

Margy attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from Merrill High School in 1968. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Margy was employed at Washington Elementary School for more than 25 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time boating at her cottage on Lake Alexander.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steve Schulz, Merrill; daughter Stephanie (David) Miller, Woodbury, Minn.; son Scott Schulz, Merrill; mother Frances Huss, Merrill; grandsons Andrew and Charlie Miller, Woodbury, Minn. She is further survived by sisters Laurie (Rick) Collins, Merrill, and Mary (Pat) Betzner, Merrill; brothers John (Linda) Huss, Merrill, and Paul (Angela) Huss, Appleton; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Margy was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Huss.

Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 12, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. The Rev. James Horath presided.

The Waid Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be given to St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill.

"You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears, be happy that we had so many years. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I traveled alone. It's only for awhile that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart."
