Allan F. Kressel

Allan F. Kressel, 73, of N5517 Bachelors Ave., Gleason, town of Russell, Lincoln County, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston.

Allan was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Merrill, son of the late Matthew and Mary Boettcher Kressel.

Allan was an electrician at Surity Manufacturing, town of Vilas, Langlade County, now retired. He enjoyed bowling and spending time along the Prairie River that ran through his property.

Survivors include his brother Earl (Helen), Gleason; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Adeline Hanson, and brothers Edward and James.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Michele Rein, parish administrator at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Bloomville, officiated. Burial was in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, town of Schley.
