Linda M. Prein

Linda M. Prein, 51, of Merrill, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at her home. Born in Merrill on Sept. 1, 1954, Linda was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Krause Winters. She married Michael Prein on Sept. 9, 1972. He survives.

Linda graduated from Merrill High School in 1972. She enjoyed spending time at home, going to the casino, and growing flowers. Linda was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Merrill.

Surviving are her husband Michael, Merrill; son Andrew (Sarah), Kennewick, Wash.; grandson Aaron, brother Thomas (Debbie) Winters, Lake Nokomis; and uncles and aunts Marie (Alan) Stahnke, Goodrich; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Krause, Merrill; and Dorothea Ballard, indiana.

Funeral services were Monday, July 24, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Earl Eckhart officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
