Wesley N. and Jeanette M. Fredrick

Wesley N. and Jeanette M. "Jan" Fredrick, both 61, of Neenah, died unexpectedly in a car accident on Saturday, May 20, 2006, in Jasper County, Iowa.

Wesley was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Oconomowoc, son of Norbert and the late Clara Sterr Fredrick. Jan was born April 1, 1945, in Westlock, Alberta, Canada, daughter of the late Melvin and Mary Lehner Pfalz.

Wesley and Jan had a passionate love for each other and their family. They were married Oct. 17, 1964 at St. John-s Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Scott and have never spent a day apart since. Wesley retired on April 28, 2006 from WE Energies after almost 40 years. Jan retired after 25 years of employment in food service from Neenah High School. They both had a passion for their automobiles and their Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Wesley and Jan enjoyed traveling. They were members of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah, and the Valley Vettes Corvette Club.

Wesley and Jan are survived by their son Michael (Teri), Neenah; grandchildren Wesley, Michael Jr., Stephen, Cassandra and Bret. Wesley is further survived by his father Norbert Fredrick; brothers Alan (Alice), Bruce and Mark (Linda), all of Oconomowoc; sisters Carol Ann Ninmann, Watertown; and Roxanne (Dean) Mueller, Hustisford; and sister-in-law Mabel Fredrick, Oconomowoc. He was preceded in death by his mother Clara, brother Marvin and brother-in-law Harvey. Jan is further survived by sister Joanne (Arlen) Pepke, Medford; and brothers Donald (Peggy) Pfalz, Bear Creek; and Alan (Arlene) Pfalz, Merrill.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 27, at Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. Rev. Terry Ahlemeyer officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Westgor Funeral Home, 1140 Appleton Rd., Menasha, served the family.
