Irene P. Edbauer

Irene Pearl Edbauer, 93, of Merrill, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.

Born in Doering on Nov. 30, 1912, Irene was the daughter of the late Lewis and Trissa Mosser Steckbar. She married Harold Edbauer on Sept. 7, 1935, in Merrill. He died on Oct. 13, 1988.

Irene was employed at Anson-Gilkey Company for many years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Irene loved music and dancing.

Irene is survived by many friends, especially the staff at Harbor House. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold and son Ralph.

Funeral services were Friday, May 26, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Joseph Kleinheinz officiated. Burial was in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Merrill.
