Lenora M. Warner

Lenora M. Warner, 72, of Merrill, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.

Born in Stevens Point on Aug. 4, 1933, Lenora was the daughter of the late Harry and Augusta Cram Coats. She married Alvin Warner on Dec. 3, 1960, in Stevens Point. He survives.

Lenora had owned and operated White Oaks Beauty Salon in Chatsworth, Calif. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in San Fernando, Calif. and also attended the Assembly of God churches in Tomahawk and Merrill. Lenora enjoyed knitting, crocheting afghans, playing dominoes, spending time with her cat and cockatiels, playing the piano and going out to eat with her family.

Survivors include her husband Alvin, Merrill; daughter Kay (Rod) Flory, Canyon Country, Calif.; son Michael (Lorene), San Fernando, Calif.; grandson Michael Flory, Valencia, Calif.; three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by grandson Travis; sisters Arvilla Hilbrand and Harriet Coats; and brothers Harry Jr., Robert and David Coats.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 31, at Hillside Fellowship, Merrill Rev. Allen Worlin officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, served the family.
