Hugo C. Wilde

Hugo C. Wilde, 82, of the town of Maine, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Hugo was born May 3, 1924. He married Leona Schuster on June 2, 1943; she survives. Hugo was employed as a truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed working on tractors and mechanical things. His life centered on his wife, and he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandson and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Leona, town of Maine; daughters Judy Springer, Wausau; and Carol (Chet) Brietzke, Merrill; grandson Charles (Angie) Siroin, stationed at Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu, Hawaii; three great-grandchildren; five nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. A private burial followed on Friday, Oct. 6, at Friedenshair Cemetery, town of Berlin.
