Michelle S. Gegner and Christopher J. Salter, both of Merrill, announce their engagement and impending nuptials.

The future bride is the daughter of Kristine and Richard Cochrane, N. Fort Myers, Fla. The prospective groom is the son of Rose Wendorf, Merrill.

Michelle is a 2000 graduate of Merrill High School and Christopher is a 1996 graduate of Merrill High School. They are both employed at Wal-Mart.

They have set a Sept. 2, 2006, wedding.
