Morgan Jean Brandt, Rhinelander, and John Robert Benedict, Blair, announced their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride to be is the daughter of Richard and Noreen Brandt, Merrill. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Joann Benedict, Merrill.

Morgan has an associate-s degree in graphic communications and technology from Northcentral Technical College (2002), a web design certificate from NTC (2002), and a bachelor-s degree in graphic communications and management from UW Stout (2004). She is a designer for Drs. Foster and Smith in Rhinelander. John attended UWSP in 2001. He is a customer service representative for the NAPA store in Blair, an Alltel representative, and H2Oasis.

The couple has set a Sept. 2, 2006, wedding date.
