Dan T. Stevenson, 19, of Wausau, died Monday, March 6, 2006, in Wausau due to an accident while working on a vehicle.

Dan was born July 11, 1986, in LeMars, Iowa. Dan graduated from Wausau West High School and worked as mechanic at Willie-s Tire and Auto in Merrill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Most of all, family was very important to Dan.

Left behind to mourn include his father Kevin (Julie) Stevenson, Rosholt; his mother Sherri (Mike) Peterson, Newell, Iowa; brother Matthew, Wausau; and sisters Shasta and Olivia Stevenson Rosholt; and Karla Peterson, Newell, Iowa. Also surviving are grandparents Ron and Jan Stevenson, Toledo, Iowa; and Don and Alda Frey, Allison, Iowa; and many aunts and uncles, cousins and good friends.

Funeral services were Friday, march 10, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Rev. John Roseth officiated. Burial was in Restlawn Cemetery, Wausau. The Helke Funeral home, Wausau, served the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. You may sign the family guest book at www.helke.com.
