Dale W. Stine Sr., age 62, of 1012 E. Eighth St., Merrill, died Friday, March 17, 2006, in the town of Hazelhurst, Oneida County, while returning home after a day of ice fishing.
Dale was born Feb. 5, 1944, in Merrill, son of the late Hamilton and June Jourdan Stine. He married Judith Juedes on Oct. 5, 1963, in Merrill. She survives.
For the past 44 years, Dale was employed at Semco in Merrill. Currently he was a saw operator in their Patio Specialty Department. He was soon to start his 45th years of employment with the company. Dale enjoyed fishing; hunting whitetail deer, moose and elk; playing cards, especially cribbage; NASCAR; and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors besides his wife Judith include his daughters Sherri (Irvin) Struck, Merrill; and Lorir (Jeffrey) Ross, Oshkosh; son Dale (Cindy) Stine Jr., Merrill; grandchildren Nichole, Vicki, Todd, Steven, Jessica, Cheyanne, Matthew and Stacy; and great-grandchildren Tiffany, Justin, Kyle, Blake and Michael.
Also surviving are sisters June Marie Krueger and Gloria (Charles Sr.) Minesal, both of West Bend; brother James (Lorena), Merrill; and several nieces and nephews, including Steven (Laurel) Stine, Merrill.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, one in infancy, and Edwin Sr.; brother-in-law Robert Krueger; and nephew Edwin Stine Jr.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 21, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Carolyn Saunders officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
