Cale Christopher Brandt, 26, of Hixon, Tenn., passed away from natural causes on Sunday, April 2, 2006.

Cale was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he received several medals including the Commendation medal and Army Achievement Medal.

Survivors include his parents, former Merrill resident Gary and Christine Brandt, Hixon, Tenn.; brother Troy Brandt, Merrill; grandmothers Helen Brandt and Ellen Holt, both of Merrill; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, in Chattanooga, Tenn. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
