Jerome Isaacson

Jerome D. "Joe" Isaacson, 71, 2100 E. Sixth St., Merrill, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill, after a courageous fight with Parkinson's disease.

Joe had been employed at the former R.O.W. Window Unit, now Hurd Millwork, Merrill, for 38 years prior to his illness.

Survivors include his wife, Ferne (Riebe) Isaacson, Merrill; two sons, Edward (Lynn) Isaacson and Michael (Lynann) Isaacson, both of Merrill; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Duane (Verna) Isaacson, Merrill; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
