Helen M. Heckendorf

Helen M. Heckendorf, 71, Merrill, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

She was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Co. for 48 years.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Heckendorf, Merrill; one daughter, Karen (Scott) Nelson, Merrill; two sons, John (Sue Baumann) Heckendorf and Garth (Jody) Heckendorf, all of Merrill; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Pahls, Eau Claire, Mary (Don) Burlinger, Saulte St. Marie, Mich., Loretta Baka, Milwaukee, and Joyce Launderville, Superior; and one brother, Joseph "Jack" Launderville, Seattle.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
