Harold Ament

Harold J. "Lank" Ament, 89, Merrill, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed at Badger Evergreen until his retirement.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary T. Weege, Merrill; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Del (Helen) Ament, Merrill; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill.

Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, is in charge of arrangements.
