Anna E. Duwe

Anna E. Duwe, 93, of Wausau died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.

Anna was born March 31, 1911, in the town of Berlin to the late August and Selma (Giese) Radenz. She married Martin Duwe Nov. 29, 1930, in the town of Scott. Martin preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1975. Anna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau, and a member of the Altar Guild and ladies aid.

Survivors include one daughter, Eldine (Anton) Czerwinski, Wausau, and a son, Daniel (Mary) Duwe, Mosinee; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a brother, Lawrence (Marjorie) Radenz, Merrill. Besides her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by two sisters, Frieda Krueger and Edna Gumtz.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary Schultz. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.
