Helen W. Wilsner Miller, 95, of Merrill, died Monday, January 3, 2005, at Woodland Court, Merrill, under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 7, 11 a.m., at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Kelly Leary will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, Beaver Dam. Visitation at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Friday to the hour of services. A complete obituary will be published in next week-s Foto News. Memorial to Woodland Court in Merrill.

Helen W. Miller, 95, of Merrill, died Monday, January 3, 2005, at Woodland Court, Merrill, under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, on November 12, 1909, Helen was the daughter of the late Edward and Christine Roesler Wilsner. She married Charles Miller on August 4, 1926. He preceded her in death.

Helen worked at the Weyenberg shoe factory in Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill. Helen enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching television, fishing, baking pies and fixing roast duck. She was known for her sense of humor.

Surviving are sisters Ida Marshal, Penticton, British Columbia; and Emily Greener and Violet Roberts, both of British Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, four sister and two brothers.

Funeral services were Friday, January 7, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Kelly Leary officiated. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, Beaver Dam.
