David L. Bohannon Jr.

David L. Bohannon Jr., 31, Deerfield, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at his residence.

Born Jan. 7, 1976, in Decatur, Ill.; David is the son of David Bohannon Sr. and Karen Curtsinger Mulder.

David graduated from Merrill High School in 1994. He then attended Mid-State Tech in Stevens Point and later UW Stevens Point. David served in the U.S. Navy in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, and all of the outdoors. David loved music and played several instruments. He was a great uncle to his niece and nephew. David will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

Survivors include his mother Karen (Mike Lazare) Mulder, Merrill; father David Bohannon Sr., Decatur, Ill.; sister Kara (Seth) Deppe, Wausau; brother Jake Mulder, Wausau; his paternal grandparents Gene and Bernice Bohannon, Decatur, Ill.; his maternal grandmother Odena Huff, Decatur, Ill.; niece Alexandria; nephew Austin; and special cousin Tara.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Elwood Curtsinger and brother Edward Mulder.

The family greeted friends and relatives Sunday, March 25, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill.
