Aurelia S. Schulz, 85, of Merrill, died Monday, January 31, 2005, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Rev. James Horath will officiate. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will be at the Waid Funeral Home in Merrill tonight from 4-7 p.m. and again Thursday morning 9:30-11 a.m. A complete obituary will be published in next week-s Foto News.

Aurelia S. Schulz, 85, of Merrill, died Monday, January 31, 2005, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill, under Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Born in Athens on March 22, 1919, Aurelia was the daughter of the late William and Adeline Braun Laufer. She was married to Ambrose Neuens for 27 years. In 1980 she married Lylas Schulz in Green Bay. He preceded her in death.

Aurelia had owned and operated Neuens- Bar for over 10 years. Later she worked in Green Bay as the head dietician in a nursing home. For 12 years she gave private nursing care. Aurelia was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill and a former member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. She enjoyed playing cares and spoiling her grandchildren. Aurelia was a wonderful mother and grandmother who always put her family first. Aurelia-s family would like to thank Pine Crest Nursing Home for excellent care and Rachel and Christina from Comfort Care and Hospice Services for the TLC.

Surviving are daughters Jeanne (Milton) Krause, Green Bay; and Colette Neuens and Marilyn (Rick) Seltzer, both of Green Bay; grandchildren Brenda (Jamie) Barrone, Linda Krause, Stacy (Kenny) Comer, Mindy (Dylan Flick) Staffen, Cole Seitzer and Corrie Neuens; step-grandchildren Michelle (Todd) Techmeier and Kim Seitzer, both of Green Bay; great-grandchildren Pete (Michelle) Staroska, Eric (Jesse Delaney) Hanson, Heather Henrichs, Bryce Barrone, Amaya Comer and Dailee, Cayden and Ian Flick; and step-great-grandchildren Lance Techmeier and Morgan Drown. Also surviving are sisters Gardie (Rollie) Weise, Green Bay; Louise Neubauer, Merrill; and Caroline Kottke, Athens; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sisters Vernette Harder and Marie Ferris and an infant son.

Funeral services were Thursday, February 3, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Rev. James Horath officiated. Burial was in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. The Waid Fuenral Home, Merrill, served the family.
