Merrill native Betty Lou Ament Parag Pennell, 80, of Newark, Del., died Monday, January 17, 2005, in Christian Care Hospital, Newark.

Among the survivors are brother Ronald (Shirley) Ament, Tomahawk; and sisters Jackie Pierce, Merrill; and Roxie (Dave) Johnson, Tomahawk.

Burial was held in Sharon Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Dover, Del.
