Roman and Edna Koebe celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23, 2004.
Roman Koebe and Edna Albert first met when they both worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Co. On a Friday night, the couple drove through the night to Dubuque, Iowa. In 1965 he started KB Body Shop where he remains active in the business. Edna is a homemaker. Both are active and involved members at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. In their free time, Roman has a special interest in fishing while Edna enjoys sewing.
