Violas and Arlyle Utech, town of Berlin, Marathon County, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Jan. 16, 2005. Violas and the former Arlyle Baumann were married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Naugart, on Jan. 19, 1945.

They are the parents of Russell, Merrill; and Jenny Anklam, Wausau. They also have two grandchildren, Gustin and Abigail Utech.
