MHS Class of  '74 Enjoys 30th Class Reunion

THE MERRILL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1974 held its 30th class reunion this past July at the Lincoln County Sports Club, north of Merrill. Class members traveled from as far away as Alaska to join those from seven other states and from all over Wisconsin in reminiscing and renewing friendships. Friday night was an informal get-together at the Lincoln County 4-H Fair's Grandstand Beer Garden where even those who were unable to attend on Saturday could hang out with friends of Old. On Saturday, a golf outing was followed by a catered meal and an irreverent comedy program performed by classmates. Joe Chilsen and Bruce Muschinkse. The balance of the evening consisted of conversation, camaraderie, and dancing, with '70's tunes playing in the background. Due to the continuing support from members of Class of  '74, another reunion will most likely be held in five years. The reunion committee, consisting of Sheryl Beyer Henrich, Noelle Boushley Stine, Mary Doering Plamann, Bob Hass, Megan O'Day, Mark Smith, Debbie Tewes Robl, and Gloria Zahn Schenzel, would like to express their appreciation to all those who helped out with the preparations, setting up, and cleaning up. A good time was had by all.
