MHS Class of 1942 Reunites

THE MERRILL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1942 met for their 62nd reunion on Sept. 4. They event was held at the Eagles Club with a social afternoon followed by a dinner. An enjoyable afternoon of renewing old friendships and reminiscing was had by the 47 members attending, plus numerous spouses. The original number of graduates in 1942 was 143. A "Tribute in Memory" for 71 deceased class members was held. Scrap books of previous reunions and school days were on display. Members attended from cities in Wisconsin and Illinois. Co-chairpersons for the reunion were Harry Schweigert and Marge (Trantow) Oestrich.
