Stephanie Uttech of Merrill celebrated her 90th birthday Dec. 24, 2004, at her home with family and friends. She was born in Colorado in 1914. Stephanie was married to Edward Uttech for 58 years. They farmed in the Town of Pine River, raising a family of two daughters and a son. Her children are Jim (Diana) Uttech, June (Lenny) Polak and Darlene (Ossie) Rethaber. The family grown to include six grandchildren and eight-great-grandchildren.

Stephanie enjoys being a member of St. Paul's Church of Pine River and the Ladies Aid. She enjoys cooking, gardening and her grandchildren.
