Glenn Joseph Gawlik, 73, of Gleason, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Born June 30, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., Glenn was the son of the late Adam K. and Marie Pollack Gawlik.

Glenn was a 1950 graduate of Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Ill. He worked for Semling and Menke for several years until retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Merrill. He enjoyed watching baseball games and going to snowmobile races. He also enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include Phyllis Dorgan, Merrill; Rod Gawlik, Joliet, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Thursday, March 10, at Gleason Cemetery, town of Russell. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, served the family.
