Beatrice Marcella Nelson, 85, formerly of the town of Pine River, Lincoln County, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.

Beatrice was born November 5, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Degutis Ambrose.

Beatrice was a homemaker. She enjoyed animals, the outdoors, gardening, fishing and cross country skiing.

Survivors include her sons Thomas (Jeanette) Scheu, Merrill; and Betty Scheu, Tomahawk; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Rose Tetzlaf, a sister and two brothers.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill.
