Evelyn Emilie Lau, 101, Merrill, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill, under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.

Born in Blue Earth, Minn., on November 12, 1903, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Hanke Weise. She married Robert Lau on Jaun 26, 1937, in Merrill. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1900.

Evelyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. She enjoyed traveling in earlier years with her husband Bob.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 2, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. David Klemm officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
