Jennifer L. Logerquist, 36, of Bourbonnais, Ill.; formerly of Wausau area, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at her home under the care of Hospice of Kankakee Valley.

Jennifer was born July 18, 1969, in Merrill, daughter of Dan and Cindy Schield Rystrom. She married John Logerquist on November 20, 1991, in Milwaukee. He survives.

Jennifer graduated from Wausau's Northland Lutheran High School in 1988. He then studied interior design at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. Jennifer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Decatur, Ill., and Bourbonnais, Ill. She loved animals, especially cats and horses. Jennifer also enjoyed painting and drawing, and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers. One of Jennifer's favorite pastimes was going to the lake in Minocqua.

Survivors include her husband John, Bourbonnais, Ill.; parents Dan and Cindy Rystrom, Des Moines, Iowa; and son Brandon, Bourbonnais, Ill. Also surviving are her brother Robert (Barbara) Rystrom, Chicago, Ill.; maternal grandmother Eleanor Schield, Merrill; her father-in-law Duane Logerquist, Manitowoc; an aunt, two uncles, several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by an infant sibling, her maternal grandfather Leslie Schield; her paternal grandparents Frank and Florence Rystrom, and her mother-in-law JoAnn Stuebs.

Funeral services were Tuesday, October 18, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. Alden Beversdorf and Rev. Dan Parsch co-officiated. Entombment was in Merrill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, handled the arrangements. The family has requested that memorials be directed to Hospice of Kankakee Valley; Northland Lutheran High School; St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Decatur, Ill.; St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Bourbonnais, Ill.; or the American Cancer Society.
