JoAnn (Jennie) Wendorf, 83, of Milwaukee, died August 30, 2004, at Alexian Village under the care of Convenant Hospice.

Jennie was born November 9, 1920, in the town of Rock Falls, to Mary and Luigi Pezzi.

Jennie graduated from Merrill High School in 1938, at which time she moved to Milwaukee. She was employed for many years at the Brady Co. and at Walgreen Drug.

Surviving are daughters Marylyn (Allen) Mathers, Slinger; Rosemary (Ed) Kienast, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; Karen Rose, Milwaukee; and Cheri (Kevin) Michalowski, Glendale; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Deanna Trinitapoli, Glendale; Lydia (Stanley) Bauman and Dahila Pezzi, both of Merrill; and sisters-in-law Stella Pezzi, Milwaukee; and Laura Pezzi, Sussex. She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin and brothers Hugo, Oswald, Erio, Fred and Aldo Pezzi.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on September 4 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Milwaukee.
