Diane Gregurich Swanson, 57, of Merrill, died Wednesday, September 28, 2004, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill. Born January 1, 1947, in Manitowoc, Diane was the daughter of Laddie Thomas and Lylas "Mary" Warner Gregurich Sr.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Antigo High School. She was raised in South Dakota and the Antigo area. After high school she lived in Antigo, moving to Merrill in 2002. Diane was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Merrill. She loved nature, Native American culture, family photo collections, fishing and camping, gardening and dining out.

Surviving are her parents Laddie and Mary Gregurich Sr., Deerbrook; daughters Tammy Brooks, New Jersey; and Shannon (Bill) Everard, Green Bay; grandchildren Amanda, A. J., Holly, Heather, John and Melissa and great-grandchild Antonio. Also surviving are sisters Sandra (Brian) Penberty, Boone, Iowa; and Melissa (Ron) Skorie, Richland Center; brothers David (Cathy) Gregurich, Deerbrook; Tim (Maureen) Gregurich, Antigo; Tom (Bonnie) Gregurich, Appleton; Anthony (Joanne) Gregurich, Auburndale; Paul (Charlene) Gregurich, Vancouver, Wash., and Joseph (Julie) Gregurich, Appleton; maternal grandmother Ivol Warner; and her loving companion Scott Lonie and his children Laura Rhyner and Larry Lonnie. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather William Warner and her paternal grandparents Louis and May Gregurich.

Funeral services were Saturday, October 2, at the Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo. Rev. Carolyn Saunders officiated. Burial was in Bohemian National Cemetery, Neva.
